Chose Commune is an independent French publishing house founded in 2014 and based in Marseille. It is run by its French-Japanese co-founder, Cécile Poimbœuf-Koizumi. Its catalogue brings together photography, works on paper and ceramics, with a particular interest in introducing or revisiting artists whose work deserves wider attention. Working closely with artists, Chose Commune gives careful consideration to editing, design and the physical form of each book.
