Loose Joints

Loose Joints is an independent publisher working between London and Marseille, founded in 2014 by Sarah Chaplin Espenon and Lewis Chaplin. It publishes contemporary photography by emerging and established artists, with particular attention to underrepresented voices and new ways of seeing.
The team works closely with artists throughout the making of each book, handling editing, design and production in-house. Alongside publishing, it operates Loose Joints Studio. Its sister space, Ensemble in Marseille, brings together a photography bookshop, gallery and atelier, with exhibitions, book launches and other events.
