Her ongoing long‑term project “ROLLERCOASTER / Scenes from a Marriage” combines performance, staged narrative, and autobiographical elements to examine the emotional dynamics of long‑term partnership. In 2023 she signed with Kehrer Verlag (Germany) to publish her first monograph based on the project.
McCrory has received numerous recognitions, including Honorable Mention in the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, a Pollux Award in Barcelona, and “Top 50” in Photolucida’s Critical Mass 2023. She has also received a Special Merit Award from the Texas Photographic Society and second place in TPS New Visions 2022. Her photographs have been exhibited at the Houston Center for Photography, Kolga Tbilisi Photo Festival (Georgia), Photo Place Gallery (Vermont), the Southeast Center for Photography (South Carolina), Praxis Gallery (Minnesota), and others.
