Published by Nazraeli Press, “Huangshan” is a beautifully produced volume limited to 1,000 numbered, slipcased copies. The 46 photographs are printed in special Daido black ink on uncoated art paper to preserve the subtle tonal ranges and “fine-art” feel characteristic of Kenna’s hand-crafted silver gelatin prints. The book includes a brief introduction by Kenna describing his treks through the range. A deluxe edition of 100 signed copies in a custom clamshell box was also released for collectors.
