Colour - First Edition

Colour – First Edition

Description

Niall McDiarmid uses colour to connect people with the streets and interiors around them. Made predominantly in London, these photographs attend to clothing, signs, shopfronts and architecture, finding echoes and contrasts within everyday scenes. Soft, overcast light allows the colours to remain prominent. The book develops McDiarmid’s continuing observation of British life through the relationship between individual appearance and urban surroundings.
