The Quantification Trilogy Reader is an extensive artist book and cinematic document co-published by Information Office. Serving as an extension of Jeremy Shaw’s “Quantification Trilogy” (comprising the films Quickeners, Liminals, and I Can See Forever), the volume renders these narratives through 120 full-bleed, full-colour stills printed on crisp black pages. The book explores a future society set 500 years forward, where a scientific discovery known as “The Quantification” has mapped all parameters of spiritual experience. Through transcripts and critical essays by Nora N. Khan and Maxwell Stephens, the Reader investigates the boundaries between transcendental experience and madness, the evolution of the human body, and the persistence of marginalized belief systems in a hyper-rational future.
